Treatment Protocol
The procedure takes 30 to 60 minutes to finish. Numbing agents can minimize the pain and discomfort associated with injections and mesotherapy devices. To target the upper dermis layer of the skin, apply one to two layers of the PDRN solution to the face by gently rolling the derma roller over the skin in a vertical-horizontal-diagonal manner twice over the face. Then repeat the process for another layer, if needed. To target the lower dermis layer, a mesotherapy device (e.g., meso-gun) is used to deliver PDRN solution into the deeper skin layer without causing injury into the skin barrier.
An in-depth consultation with a doctor is a must to determine the frequency of PDRN treatments you should have. It will also depend on your condition, the severity of your skin aging, and the individual’s aesthetic needs. Generally, PDRN is recommended for 3 to 4 treatment sessions every 2 to 4 weeks to obtain maximum benefits.
Treatment Interval and Duration
Polynucleotide (PN) Treatment Protocol
PN treatments follow a similar approach to PDRN but are typically positioned as a more advanced or intensive regenerative procedure. Following a PN injection procedure, gradual improvement is expected over several weeks with continued skin enhancement even after treatment sessions are completed.

Sessions
3 to 6 sessions
performed every 3

Frequency
After 6 to 12 months

Aftercare & Downtime
Similar to PDRN treatments, PN treatments may cause a few side effects, such as redness and swelling that will subside within a few days, especially if aftercare instructions are followed. Hence, proper post-treatment care is important to maximize and see optimal results.

redness may occur

PN vs PDRN Treatment Approach
Combination Treatments with PDRN and PN
For optimal results, PN and PDRN are often used together:

PDRN → Reduces inflammation and accelerates healing

PN → Rebuilds and strengthens skin structure
This combination approach delivers both immediate recovery and long-term rejuvenation.
