PDRN for Enlarged Pores

Enlarged pores appear when pore walls lose collagen support and become lax. PDRN injections build dermal collagen density, which tightens pore walls from the inside. This does not change pore size anatomically, but improving the surrounding skin quality reduces how visible pores appear.

PDRN for Enlarged Pores

Improving Skin Texture and Pore Visibility

Why Pores Appear Enlarged

Pore size is largely genetic, but pores appear more prominent when:

Collagen around the pore wall decreases — the wall becomes lax and the opening widens
Excess sebum and debris stretch the pore from inside
Sun damage and skin thinning reduce the surrounding dermis density, making pores more visible

How PDRN Helps

PDRN's collagen-stimulating effect increases the density and thickness of the dermis around pore walls, which provides better structural support. Better-supported pore walls appear tighter. The improvement in overall skin texture also creates a smoother surface where pores appear less prominent.

The effect is subtle and gradual — patients with diffuse enlarged pores across cheeks and nose see the most benefit. Isolated individual large pores respond less dramatically to collagen-based treatment.
